GPT's Very Own Athlete Jarrett "Swift" Hurd is the NEW IBF World Super Welterweight Champion

Jarrett "SWIFT" Hurd

Jarrett "Swift" Hurd (20-0, 14 KO's) knocked out Tony Harrison to claim vacant IBF junior super welterweight title.

The battle was genuinely even through eight rounds. Both men began off circumspectly, as though they had everything to lose, moving around the ring and fighting a significant part of the time all things considered, with Harrison's speed giving him the edge early.

Harrison a result of the Emanuel Steward school of confining Detroit, and Hurd, from the all of a sudden boxing-rich rural Washington D.C. showcase, drew in each other, however for the most part at a separation.

In the seventh round, Hurd amazed Harrison with a right hand as Harrison held tight for dear life. In any case, Harrison, apparently out on his feet or near it, returned stable and handled a few pokes and rights that appeared to hurt Hurd. Whatever is left of the round was forward, and backward activity, with Harrison, wobbled, yet at the same time tossing punches.

By the ninth round, Hurd apparently had the battle under control, and it was simply an issue of time before he could complete the show.
